Bronze is a copper-based alloy. The major alloying elements are
often, but not always, zinc and tin.

Bronze is frequently used as door handles and trim on elevators, reception desks, wall
panels and ceiling panels.
Advantages are that bronze offers a combination of properties such as high
strength, hardness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Use bronze when you
wish to have a custom design cast or when you need a deep rich color for your
project.
Disadvantage are that it is more expensive than brass and it can develop a patina as a
result of long exposure to moist air.
